PREPARATION OF STOCK PASTE
The required quantity of TEXPRINT PV ( 8 kgs ) is gradually added to medium cold water ( 92 kgs ) at room temp
(30Oc) under high speed stirring. After complete addition, continue stirring for 30 minutes. Leave the paste for minimum
4 hrs or overnight. To accelerate swelling property of the gum thickener, hot water can be used. Adjust pH of the paste to
about 5.0 to 5.5 by organic acids viz. citric or tartaric acids etc. then filter the paste using nylon or polyester mono
Filament 160 mesh filter cloth and use it for preparing Print Paste.
